Tiger Woods: A good game, a new sponsor, a new life

Wednesday afternoon, we sat down with Stewart Cink, to discuss various topics courses, and of course the conversation turned (briefly) to Tiger Woods. When I suggested that we are in the "post-Tiger era," Cink stopped me and told me not so sure. Tiger has surprised everyone before. And in the first round of the Australian Open, he did it again, albeit on a smaller scale. Although most attention has focused on the day, Adam Scott, the Eagle, and John Daly is pure crisis, Woods carded four in 68, which was important because it marked his first bogey-free round of nine months. (Small steps, people. Baby steps.) Woods also has some good news off-course now. Woods has agreed to act as spokesperson for Science "security", a sports medicine / nutrition company. "When I found the fuse revolutionary science, I immediately realized that this will be a big change in how we live our lives every day," Woods, "said" in a press release. "We will improve the power supply, nutrition and medicine in several broad categories and we will improve the capacity of all athletes to perform at their natural best. The company is laying the groundwork for some very important things and then talk to them personally, I wanted to be driven by the fuse. "(And if you think Woods said even one word, I have a green jacket for sale.) Of course, not AT & T or Gatorade or Tag Heuer, but a time ... baby steps. Tiger Woods is good news as the rest of the sports world goes to hell. Yep, seems about right.
